In the early ’70s, in the province of ex-Yugoslavia, a young boy seems to live an ordinary life, with his parents and his mother’s parents. His family is made up of a number of different attitudes, origins and influences. His father is a Croat, a doctor, his mother a Serb; his grandfather a revolutionary communist of old times, his grandmother believes in God. We soon realize that the relationship between his parents is full of misunderstandings and doomed to failure, and that the young boy will witness a very complex and unfortunate love story.
